Home
Every night poor children can be found sleeping alone and vulnerable on station platforms and in the surrounding areas. They are without their parents, thin and unkempt. Many are ill, all are vulnerable and most are exposed to serious forms of exploitation. They have no ability to change their lives. It is for those poor children Mourong Charity School was established. We are planing to bring up poor slum children, not to custom them to habits of luxury and indulgence, but to render them hardy, patient, self-denying lifestyle, ought to be improve to the spiritual edification of these pupils, by encouraging them to evince fortitude under the temporary privation.

Children, by being brought up in a dormitory, we cater to the special needs of our children by operating an informal classroom environment. Children from the streets often find it difficult to concentrate, dislike confined spaces and in many cases do not know how to draw, paint or write. It is therefore our priority to help them settledown with a set Mind to learn and play at a very informal classroom environment. This method, within a year, helped most of the children settled well in Mourong and learn basic literacy and lifestyle.
